Using Spring with OpenAPI

November 20, 2023

The most recent State of Spring survey by VMware showed that a majority of Spring users are probably also using OpenAPI in some form. We even use it extensively inside VMware, and we ship large amounts of code annually to internal and external customers using Spring and OpenAPI. This presentation looks at the choices available for implementing OpenAPI services or clients with Spring. Spring expert Dave Syer looks at a range of tools and configuration options, and also considers approaches to building API-based systems on the server and the client, supporting practical implementation choices in real systems. This talk was originally presented as part of SpringOne Tour: https://springonetour.io/
