Altoros Elasticsearch for VMware Tanzu Application Service (TAS) brings BOSH deployed Elasticsearch clusters to Cloud Foundry. Operators download the service from Network, install and configure the imported tile using Ops Manager. After the service has been successfully installed and configured, the exposed service plans are made available to developers through the Service Marketplace. Developers then bind their applications to keyspaces in the Elasticsearch service.
Altoros Elasticsearch for VMware Tanzu Application Service (TAS) abstracts away the complexity of deploying and scaling a real-time distributed document store, search and analytics service. The tile deploys an enterprise-ready Elasticsearch cluster that can be shared among multiple Tanzu users.
Easily Provision an Elasticsearch Cluster
Fully-automated deployment and easy scaling of an Elasticsearch installation—a distributed document store where every field is indexed and searchable.
Secure Your Data
The Altoros Elasticsearch for TAS tile comes with the Search Guard plugin that enables user authentication, authorisation, and encryption when accessing Elasticsearch.
Optimize Usage of Resources
Multi-tenancy enables the developer to bind their app to a keyspace in the Elasticsearch data storage rather than deploy a new cluster every time the app needs it.
