What do we need to factor in when designing solutions to lifecycle manage applications And platforms in these new environments? We would like to share an overview of what we experienced in the field and discuss the solutions that worked best so far.


Maria Gabriella (Gabry) Brodi

Gabry is a senior technical leader with a track record of improving software ROI by understanding the chain of value and defining and tuning the processes of the software life cycle. She is an expert DevOps architect with experience in both startup and corporate environments, cloud and on premises.

Glênio Damasceno Borges

Glênio is platform architect working on modern applications at VMware. He’s been responsible for driving digital transformation at large organizations, helping them to build, run and manage their applications in a cloud-native environment leveraging upstream Kubernetes across any cloud with consistency. Allowing them to create products and services faster, in a startup way and achieve their business outcomes.

Michael Wright

Mike has over 25 years in the application development space and currently leads the field working group at VMware as a liaison between customer and product development in the area of Edge computing for modern applications.


Tiffany Jernigan

Tiffany is a senior developer advocate at VMware and is focused on Kubernetes. She previously worked as a software developer and developer advocate (nerd whisperer) for containers at Amazon. She also formerly worked at Docker and Intel. Prior to that, she graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in electrical engineering. Paul Czarkowski

Paul Czarkowski is a long-time practitioner of the dark arts of DevOps. Hailing from Australia, he moved to Austin,Texas to help build and run one of the largest and most successful online games. Now at VMware, Paul works to improve the operator experience by taking cloud native software development concepts and applying them to operations to create platforms that reduce toil and improve software delivery.
