Where do I download the VMware Tanzu Distribution of OpenJDK and VMware tc Server?
Both are available on Tanzu Network.
How are upgrades and security patches handled for OpenJDK distribution?
New binaries will be available from VMware's Distribution of OpenJDK. Alternatively, Bellsoft's Liberica JDK/JRE binaries can also be downloaded directly from their website. These binaries are also supported by VMware.

What Kubernetes distributions are supported by VMware Spring Runtime?
All conformant Kubernetes distributions are supported including VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid.
What platforms does VMware tc Server support?
We support Windows/Mac/Linux environments.
Does the VMware Tanzu Distribution of OpenJDK support mobile, desktop, ARM, or embedded platforms?
No; it only supports Linux and Windows server environments at this time.
Can I buy VMware Spring Runtime without buying any other VMware Tanzu products or subscriptions?
Yes, VMware Spring Runtime is sold independently.
What is included in Spring support?
When building Spring applications, if you encounter software errors or runtime exceptions outside the scope of your business logic or customizations, submit it for review and evaluation by the support team. Likewise, if you run into defects, send the details, and our support engineers will evaluate the behavior and submit it to the respective product backlog for resolution.

Are VMware Spring Runtime entitlements exchangeable?
VMware Spring Runtime can be purchased either as vCPU core or Kubernetes pod packs. All the entitlements in the VMware Spring Runtime are exchangeable within the purchased vCPU/pod packs.
