Cloud-Native .NET The Right Way

Welcome to the .NET Renaissance! There’s never been a better time to be a .NET developer. Today, the .NET community enjoys access to a steady flow of helper components to help wrangle the challenges of complex, distributed systems. With newer architectures like microservices, and the introduction of .NET Core, enterprises are now investing more in their .NET apps. This is a welcome change from years past.

In this paper, we’ll explore the foundational elements of “Cloud-native .NET.” We also address how high-velocity teams use these foundational elements in their day-to-day practices. From there, we’ll discuss how Microsoft and Pivotal have partnered to give you the tools you need to survive and thrive in this new era. Finally, we’ll discuss the future of your existing and your new .NET apps, and how they fit into this new world.
