VMware has been bolstering its Tanzu portfolio at a steady clip, and the monitoring capabilities of Wavefront have set the foundation for what is now Tanzu Observability. Infrastructure and observability vendors alike are setting their sights on developers, DevOps and site reliability engineers (SREs) to break out of traditional IT ops personas, and with Tanzu, VMware has positioned itself to remain competitive with players in both sectors.
