VMware Tanzu Application Service Delivers Exceptional Value with Extended Spring Runtime Support

With the end of open source support for Spring Boot 2.7.x versions in November of this year, many organizations are looking into options that will give them additional time to upgrade their Spring Boot applications. VMware Spring Runtime is an excellent service that provides extended commercial support for Spring and its various subprojects. VMware is deeply committed to the Spring ecosystem and open source community, and to further strengthen it, VMware launched extended support for Spring in February of 2022. VMware Spring Runtime is available for stand-alone purchase, as well as bundled within VMware Tanzu Application Service and Azure Spring Apps Enterprise at no extra cost.
