VMware Tanzu Application Platform is a next-generation Kubernetes-based application platform that helps your developers be more productive. At the core of its graphical user interface is the Backstage open-source framework. In this video, we describe the object model of Backstage that is primarily used in the Software Catalog plugin, but also spans across other plugins. We talk about the major kinds of the object model: Component, Resource, API, System, Domain, User, Group, and Location.
