In collaboration with Polaroid, Xtreme Labs created the first Android app for the Polaroid GL-10 instant mobile printer, part of the Lady Gaga and Polaroid Grey Label line. Recently announced at the CES this past January, Lady Gaga literally unveiled the new GL10 Instant Mobile Printer behind a golden cloak that utilizes ZINK® Zero Ink® Technology and acts as a personal and portable photo booth.
The GL10 Instant Mobile Printer is now available at Bloomingdale’s flagship store in New York, and will be rolled out to locations nationwide in late June 2011. Weighing only 15 ounces, it prints full bleed 3”x4” photos in less then a minute and also can print photos with the Polaroid Classic Border.
Recognizing Xtreme Labs as a leader in mobile innovation, Polaroid approached us to create a mobile app for use with this new GL10 Instant Mobile Printer. Xtreme Labs is an expert in connecting mobile devices to hardware and now offers the Polaroid Android App for the GL10, enhancing the Instant Mobile Printer’s connection with Android phones.
The Polaroid GL10 Android app allows users to take photos, add effects, borders and text and send the photo via Bluetooth to their GL10 Instant Mobile Printer, further enhancing the mobile photo experience – all in less than a minute.
