Tracker Ecosystem: Google Calendar integration

September 13, 2013 Ronan Dunlop

Cloud Integration Consultants have built a tool that will copy the finished stories from Pivotal Tracker to Google Calendar – PT2GC. According to James Brake “This makes it really easy to see what our programmers time was tracked to.”

While we like to stress that velocity is not something we want people to equate to hours; nor we feel should velocity be tracked on a per individual basis but at a team level and what’s more (insert here a few more firmly held beliefs and opinions)… However, the reality is not everyone has the desire or luxury to work the way we do. So, with our position clearly stated… this is awesome. It’s a simple, really practical, beneficial, visual integration that we hope you’ll try out.

You can find CIC.io’s integration on their site or on our third party tools page. What’s more, they’ve just finished an alpha release of an Invoicing Tool for Pivotal Tracker. I haven’t seen it yet, but if anyone tries it out we’d love to hear from you.

To all the folks at CIC.io – Mahalo very much!

Here’s a small video CIC.io put together showing their Google Calendar integration:
