Digital smart- Accelerating digital government for citizens in the Asia-Pacific

Citizens are more digitally-engaged than ever, and are becoming a diverse and complex customer for governments to serve. There will be an additional 900 million internet users by 2025, a 36% increase from 2021. Governments’ IT spending is forecast to grow 8% each year to US$151 billion by 2025, outpacing the average annual growth of 6% in overall government spending in Asia-Pacific.
